Training for SYF will commence, the next practice. Show sense of responsibility by being punctual and attending practices. 🙂

so, how did you all find today’s performance? Well, one thing for sure, it wasn’t that bad, at least some comments were that the teachers did enjoy the performance put up by the band! Good going(:
Alright people, the next thing we will be working on, definitely is not an easy task. We’ll be focusing on our SYF choice piece from now on, which is none other than ‘Die Fledermaus’.
We’ll surely be able to achieve and accomplish.
But. BUT, why is it so difficult to just control your volume during band practices.
How many times do the leaders have to settle people down.. Well, this is something that i will want an answer.

POP was a blast! Congratulations to the new appointed leaders and our members who had their ranks promoted! Do continue to work hard together as one, to improve the band!
Meanwhile.. do also manage your time well so as to ensure that you have enough time for revision. Learn to prioritize the things that you have to do. Make full use of your time that you have. Remember, there’s a time to play and there’s a time to serious-up and focus. Now’s the exam period, good luck and study hard for this Common Test. From your BMs. 😀

I’ve been seeing improvement from some secondary two members.
Especially, the improvement on the sense of urgency one has.
It’s an indication that, EVERYONE can do it!
Okay, so a recap on today.
Firstly; one of the greatest problem of the band is that things are still done unorganisingly. You people still are not working together, by working together, this cuts down the time you need to finish setting up, packing up. Why do i still see people standing around like dead bodies not doing anything? Is this fair to others?
Oh yes, i want to make this a point.
Please, contain your swears and curses to yourself. Do not hurl them all over the place unecessarily. BE POLITE.
Basic respect for each other okay?
Apart from these, Sectionals..
Q: What exactly is sectionals to every individual?
Time to socialise? Please, if so, you’re in the wrong place. It leads back to the same old problem. Clarify anything you are unsure of! Do not always hide behind the better players, do not always leave the things you do not know to pile, because, by doing so, at the end of the day, you will not be able to reach your target. Always stuck there like a elementary learner. How to advance?
Oh yes, make this a point, i want all sectional leaders to take note, the break time, must not exceed 5 minutes.
Before giving breaks, make sure your sections have already done the required. For this, i will elaborate more soon.
Well, today, i’ve not much of a comment. The same problems arises repeatedly.
What’s the use of nagging? It goes through one ear and comes out from the other.
Watch yourselves. Do not make the leaders REPEAT ALL THE TIME.
& also, i urge all the members to take good care of yourselves especially with this kind of weather in Singapore. If anyone of you are not feeling well while in the mids of having band practice, please report sick. Also, this is not an excuse for any individual to fool the leaders saying you’re unwell and not fall in and out. Without permission, you will be serverly dealt with. Drink lots of water, mind your health.
