The Band
Bishan Park Symphonic Band was officially formed after departing from a marching band tradition. Under the baton of Mr Samuel Tan, the band has remarkably achieved a Silver Medal in the 2007 & 2009 Singapore YouthFestival (SYF) Central Judging of Concert Bands. In 2011, the Band achieved a Silver Medal in the 2011 SYF Central Judging of Concert Band.
The band also stages its bi-annual concert, OEUVRE, together with the School’s Performing Arts groups. Our current band strength stands at over 50 members, with our passionate group of Alumni, returning to help bond, guide and impart their musical knowledge to our fellow musicians.
