Hi members, we will be having a 3-week break. Next practice, we’ll most probably be shooting the SYF drills video. So we need good attendance. Remind each other to come for band practice.
1. Memorise March Together until BAR 36, Memories of Friendship and Die Fledermaus.

CENTRAL JUDGING OF CONCERT BANDS (SECONDARY SCHOOL LEVEL)
30-HOUR MARCHING COMPONENT REQUIREMENT
1. Secondary schools and IP schools taking part in the SYF 2011 Central Judging of Concert Bands are required to submit a video-recording (VCD/DVD format) of the band members performing the marching routine outlined below:
PART A: BASIC DRILL
a. Sedia (At attention position)
b. Senang Diri (At ease position)
c. Ka- Kiri Pusing (Left turn)
d. Ka- Kanan Pusing (Right turn)
e. Hentak Kaki with Berhenti (Mark time with halt)
PART B: MARCH PAST2. For the march past, the band is required to play the “March Together” by MitsuoNonami. The band is only required to play the first 36 bars of “March Together”.
2. Both Part A and Part B are to be conducted with instruments.
3 . The percussion section (with marching percussion instruments) is to be included inthe march past contingent.
